Breakfast in Bed
I’ve always really liked this campaign which Andy Abbott and I did at Saatchis.
We were quite wet behind the ears and this was a nice opportunity to do something interesting for a ‘small client with no money’.
We discovered some stock shots of the little beasties which sorted out the photography.
I wrote some lines and copy which James Lowther signed off.
Which just left the layout to do.
Just.
Alex Taylor was Head of Art at the time and she had Andy knocking out thumbnail layouts for weeks on end, her favourites were then ‘macced up’ and spread out all around our office.
And her office.
I shudder to think of the studio costs but it was certainly a great way to learn about Saatchi’s attention to detail and the importance of crafting, even for a ‘small client with no money’.
